Loctite® 2701 is an anaerobic high strength glue which is an improved version of Loctite 270. Loctite 2701 is used on all types of metal fasteners including stainless steel and steels with coatings including zinc. It is used for fasteners which do not require regular removal for mainrtenance and it is particularly suitable for permanently locking studs into engine blocks, heads and pump housings and working temperatures up to 150° C. 2701 is suitable for thread sizes up to M20 and temperatures up to 150° C.
